Abstract
A height adjustable device pit () is provided for use in installing water meters () or other equipment below ground level. The device pit () includes a lower housing section (), an upper housing section (), and a lid (). The lower housing section () and the upper housing section () are engaged with each other by mating screw threads () and () that are centered on a vertical, longitudinal axis ().
