Abstract

The present disclosure teaches a method and a system () for relaying telecommunication signals (S, S), wherein the telecommunication signals (S, S) have a plurality of carriers (). The system () comprises a central hub () connectable to one or more base stations (); a plurality of remote units (--N;----) for relaying at least one of the plurality of carriers () in the telecommunication signals (SS) supplied by the central hub (). Power of the plurality of remote units (--N;----) is adjustable such that first ones of the plurality of remote units (--N;----) can be switched off and second ones of the plurality remote units (--N;----) can have adjusted power levels to compensate for the switch off of the first ones of the plurality of remote units (--N;----).
