Abstract
The method for adjusting an inverter () connected to an electric motor () via a du/dt-filter () and a motor cable () is described. The method comprises the steps of generating a pulse on the motor cable by means of the inverter () measuring a cycle time of a pulse answer from consecutive current peaks, determining a time delay tfrom the cycle time, determining a dwell time Tto be avoided from the time delay tby T=k*t, k ∈ {2, 6, 10, . . . } adjusting the time between consecutive switchings of the inverter () to be out of a range from T−tto T+twherein tis an allowable deviation from T.
