Abstract
A coil () for a rotary electric machine () is constituted by eight layers, and includes an inner coil member (B) constituting one layer, three layers, five layers, and seven layers, and an outer coil member (A) constituting two layers, four layers, six layers, and eight layers. An outer upper right arm bending part (), an outer upper left arm bending part (), an outer lower right arm bending part (), and an outer lower left arm bending part () of the outer coil member (A) are formed, at a position where some portions are not overlaid on each other, when six inner coil members (B) constituting seven layers are arranged to be overlaid on six outer coil members (A) constituting eight layers.
