An acetabular cup extractor () is provided that is designed for extracting medical device implants. The acetabular cup extractor includes a fastener () for securing to an implant () and a cutting assembly (). The cutting assembly further includes a blade () spaced and movably connected to the fastener and a handle () operatively connected to the blade.
