Abstract

A lighting device () is provided along with an operating light and a process (), including a process with a computer program, controlling a plurality of lighting elements in a lighting device (). The lighting elements are divided into a plurality of groups of lighting elements (), with each group of lighting elements () including at least two lighting elements. The process () includes assigning () different characteristics (-) to the groups of lighting elements (). A characteristic (-) includes a sequence of different light intensities in temporal subintervals.
