Abstract
A knife having a housing () and a blade support () for holding a blade (), the blade support being movable between a retracted position in which the blade support () is moved by a reset device () against a stop of the housing (), and a fully advanced position, the blade support having a base () and a blade cover () movable between a closed position and an open position relative to the base (), and in the closed position, the base () and the blade cover () firmly secure the blade () in a blade seat () between the base () and the blade cover () and in the open position, the base () and the blade cover () are so oriented relative to each other that a blade can be changed.
