Abstract
Disclosed are composition and methods for treating skin whereby a cosmetic composition is applied to a target area of skin. The cosmetic composition comprises an effective amount of a skin active agent. A barrier patch is also provided and has a backing layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive. The barrier patch has an adhesive release force of about 50 gms to about 400 gms; a WVTR from about 1 g/m/24 h to about 500 g/m/24 h; and a flexibility from about 8 grams to about 40 grams.
