Abstract
A cluster expansion method includes: acquiring data of machines to be expanded; acquiring the number of machines in a cluster; when it is determined that a number of machines to be expanded is not a multiple of the number of the machines in the cluster, acquiring a total data amount of current fragments in the cluster and a fragment amount of the current fragments; according to the total data amount of the current fragments in the cluster, the fragment amount of the current fragments and the fragment amount of the machines to be expanded, migrating some data amount of each fragment in the current fragments to the machines to be expanded; and when it is determined that the number of the machines to be expanded is a multiple of the number of the machines in the cluster, configuring the machines to be expanded to be in the cluster.
