Abstract

An arrangement for connecting a coaxial cable () to a connector, wherein the coaxial cable () comprises at least one metal braid layer () surrounding inner parts of the cable () and an outer insulating layer () surrounding said at least one metal braid layer (); the connector comprises a ferrule () to be arranged in electrical contact with said at least one metal braid layer () and means () for applying a pressure force () to the outer insulating layer () of the coaxial cable () in a position of said electrical contact; and a silicone sleeve () is arranged between said means () for applying a pressure force () and the outer insulating layer () of the coaxial cable () in a position that, when said inner parts () of the cable () are inserted within the ferrule (), said pressure force () is applied to the silicone sleeve ().
