Abstract
Exemplary embodiments provide a multi-medicament infusion system () for preventing the mischanneling of medicaments. The system may include an infusion pump (), medicament reservoirs (A,B), a multi-channel lumen (), and an infusion set (). The medicament reservoirs may be sized and shaped differently such that the medicament reservoirs can only be inserted into the infusion pump in a unique configuration. The multi-channel lumen may include connectors that mate to corresponding connectors on the infusion pump and the infusion set only in a unique configuration. Because the various parts of the multi-infusion system may only be connected in the unique configuration, the expected medicaments may be administered appropriately and channeled to the correct infusion sites.
