Abstract
A CPE device may include a communication component that is configured to communicatively couple to a network provided by a network service provider. The network may include a management platform for facilitating deployment of updates, or facilitating provisioning of services and deployment of service applications corresponding to the services. The CPE device may host a containerized system that includes an operating system, and a plurality of containers configured to share resources of the operating system. Each container, of the plurality of containers, may be configured to contain a respective service application. The operating system may be configured to communicate with the management platform to coordinate receiving of particular updates for the containerized system or the CPE device, or to coordinate provisioning of particular services, and deployment of particular service applications corresponding to the particular services, to the CPE device.
