Abstract
The invention relates to a half shell for a torsion bar bearing (A), comprising: a half-shell body (A,B,C,D,E) formed in one piece and along a body axis (A); and at least one stiffening device (A,B,C,D,E) adapted to increase a rigidity of the half-shell body (A,B,C,D,E). The invention relates further to a torsion bar bearing (A) comprising: at least one first half shell and at least one second half shell, wherein at least one of the at least one half shell is disposed opposite to at least one of the at least one second half shell with respect to a torsion bar axis, and to a method of supporting a torsion bar.
