Abstract
This receiving solution for inkjet recording inks contains a resin emulsion as the resin; the polyvalent metal salt contains ions of a polyvalent metal and anions of an organic material; the (organic value)/(inorganic value) ratio, namely the OV/IV value of the anions of the organic material is 0.25 or more but less than 1.30; the HLB value of the surfactant is from 9 to 19 (inclusive); and the surfactant is represented by general formula (1). (In the formula, Rrepresents an optionally branched alkylene group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms (inclusive); Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or an optionally branched alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms (inclusive); Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or an optionally branched alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms (inclusive); A represents 2 or 3; X represents ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide; and n represents an integer).
