Provided are a polarizing plate including a polarizer and a polarizing plate protective film laminated on the polarizer, in which the polarizing plate protective film contains at least one compound represented by any one of General Formulas (1) to (3) and cellulose acylate; an image display device using the polarizing plate; and a polarizing plate protective film used for the polarizing plate, andR—N═C═N—R  General Formula (3)in which Rto Rrepresent a specific substituent.
