Abstract
A display device includes a light guiding panelhaving an incoming surfaceformed on one of side surfaces, a plurality of light sources (-to-) respectively corresponding to a plurality of patterns that can be displayed, and a controllerfor controlling on and off of the plurality of light sources. The light guiding panelhas a first reflective surface () formed on the other side surface of the light guiding panelthe first reflective surface reflecting light emitted from a first light source and entering the light guiding panelthrough the incoming surfaceand changing the propagation direction of the light, and a plurality of prismswhich is formed on one surfaceof the light guiding panel, is oriented toward light emitted from a light source corresponding to the pattern, entering the light guiding panelthrough the incoming surfaceand directed to the pattern, and reflects the light so that the light is emitted through the other surfaceof the light guiding panel.
