Abstract
The present invention provides a fluorescence sensing system comprising a light source () for exciting a sensor material (), a photo-detector () for collecting the fluorescence emitted from the sensor material and a controller () coupled to the photo-detector; wherein the controller is configured to perform measurements on the fluorescence signal collected by the photo-detector and adjust the output power of the light source based on the measurements.
