Abstract

Solid microcapsules are prepared by adding, with stirring, a composition having at least one active ingredient to a photocrosslinkable polymeric composition to obtain an emulsion, and adding the emulsion, with stirring, to a viscous composition. The viscosity of the viscous composition is greater than 2000 mPa·s at 25° C. A double emulsion is obtained, to which shear is applied at a rate less than 1000 s, to obtain a sheared emulsion. Polymerization of the sheared emulsion is accomplished by photopolymerization.
