Abstract

The present application relates to a cold plasma device () for treating a surface () with cold plasma. The device () has a cold plasma generator () adapted to generate cold plasma that produces reactive species for treating the surface (). The device () also includes a treatment head () that is positionable relative to the surface () such that the reactive species are imparted toward the surface () during treatment. The device () is also provided with an air flow generator () to generate an air flow over the surface () and a controller () configured to control operation of the air flow generator () to generate an air flow over the surface () after the treatment has been completed such that remaining by-products of the cold plasma are dissipated.
