Abstract

The disclosed embodiments include a method for automating test scenarios for a node of a network. The method can include defining an initial test case that includes multiple values for multiple variables and generating multiple subsequent test scenarios based on the initial test case. The multiple test scenarios utilize the same traffic generator files and share data files to automate test execution. The method can further include executing a particular test scenario to obtain a test result that indicates whether the node of the network passed or failed the particular test scenario.
