Abstract
The endoscope optical system includes in order from an object side, a first lens group having a negative refractive power, a second lens group having a positive refractive power, and a third lens group having a positive refractive power. Switching between a normal observation and a magnified observation is possible by fixing the first lens group and the third lens group, and moving the second lens group. The third lens group includes a cemented lens.
