Abstract

A battery module () and a method for controlling charge and discharge are provided. The battery module () includes a battery body disposed in an outer housing, a heat conduction assembly () connected between the outer housing and the battery body in a heat conduction manner, a first heating member () for heating the battery body, a second heating member () for heating the heat conduction assembly (), a temperature sensor () for detecting a temperature of the battery body and generating a temperature signal according to the detected temperature of the battery body, and a control assembly () for receiving the temperature signal and controlling the first heating member () and the second heating member () according to the temperature signal.
