Abstract
A system for improved transmission of digital data includes: an incoming data stream having an incoming data rate rate; a memory configured to store the data; and a controller configured to write the data to the memory, the controller further configured to generate an outgoing data stream having an outgoing data rate rate, wherein a normalized rate difference rate=(rate−rate)/ratebetween the incoming data rate rateand the outgoing data rate rateis a negative number of parts per million (ppm).
