Abstract

An exhaust gas system () has a main flow path () with an exhaust gas aftertreatment device (), and a bypass flow path () that has a fan () and a heating apparatus (). The bypass flow path () has opposite ends connected to the main flow path () in regions upstream and downstream of the exhaust gas aftertreatment device (). A shut-off () is arranged in the main flow path () upstream of the bypass flow path, and a further shut-off () is arranged in the main flow path downstream of the bypass flow path.
