Abstract

Provided herein isstrain PMB05 used in the field of plant disease control. Inoculation of plants with the strain can increase immune responses induced by detection of fungi and/or bacteria in plant, for example, increase the production of ROS and deposition of callose. Also, the strain has the effect of promoting plant growth. Therefore, the strain and its culture filtrate of the present invention can boost plant disease resistance and promote plant growth, which can be extensively used to control plant diseases and have the potential of turning into a commodified biological control agent.
