Abstract

The invention relates to a connecting element () to connect a battery cell () of an electric vehicle () to a battery box (), wherein the connecting element () has at least one connecting section () for connection to the battery cell and is joined to the battery box (). The problem addressed by the invention is that of being able at least largely to dispense with the need to use filler material when joining the connecting element to the baseplate of the battery box so as to improve its quality and make it more cost-effective. The problem is solved by a connecting element () that has at least one joining section () for securely connecting the connecting element to the battery box ().
