Abstract
An apparatus for capping a container () comprises: —a conveying device for conveying the container () along a path; —an applying head () for applying a lid () onto a neck () included in an opening device of the container (); —a welding head () arranged downstream of the applying head (), the welding head () comprising a welding element () for welding the lid () to the opening device.
