Abstract

Provided are a filter device and a washing method therefor. The filter device comprises a membrane housing (); a spacer () having an ion transmittance and separating the membrane housing () into a first chamber () and a second chamber (); a membrane element () disposed in the first chamber (); a first electrode () disposed in the first chamber (); and a second electrode () disposed in the second chamber (). The method comprises respectively connecting a positive electrode and a negative electrode to the first electrode () and the second electrode (), such that the first electrode () and the second electrode (), water in the first chamber () and water in the second chamber () form an electrolytic cell, thus generating acidic water or alkaline water in the first chamber (). The acidic water and/or the alkaline water are/is used for washing the member element.
