Abstract
In an X-ray generating apparatusin which an X-ray tubeis anode-grounded to a protruding portionof a container, electrical discharge between the X-ray tubeand the containeris reduced. The containerincludes the protruding portionin such a way that, in the axial direction Dt, a bent portionis positioned between an anode-side joint portionwhere the insulating tubeand the anodeare joined to each other and a cathode-side joint portionwhere the insulating tubeand the cathodeare joined to each other.
