Abstract
A sealed cell according to the present invention includes an angular casethat accommodates an electrode body. The angular caseincludes a concave case main body, having an opening, and a sealing member. The case main bodyhas a flat surfaceopposed to the sealing member, with the electrode body interposed therebetween, and a side wallrising from the flat surface. The peripheral edge portion of the opening provided in the case main bodyand the sealing memberare joined to each other by seal welding.
