Abstract

A fuel distributor features a pressure accumulatorwith a longitudinal hollow spaceto receive pressurized fuel. The pressure accumulatorpossesses at least one threaded socketwhich connects with the longitudinal hollow spaceand which features interior threading, and into which a threading capwith exterior threadingis inserted. The threading socketfeatures a sealing surface, which ends up being pressed onto a sealing seatset up inside the pressure accumulator. According to the invention, a leakage channelis formed within the threading cap. The configuration of the fuel distributor according to the invention with the leakage channelin the threading socketallows leakage testing under high pressure to be carried out during a short cycle or detection times, and with a high degree of precision.
