Abstract
Provided is a coating base material having a new configuration capable of enhancing the durability of a coating regardless of the adhesion strength of a primer. A coating base materialwhose surface is subjected to application of a coating includes: a mesh-like valley portionformed on the surface; and a plurality of island portionsformed on the surface and surrounded by the valley portion. Each island portionhas a crater-like recessformed on an upper surface thereof.
