Abstract

A method for safeguarding a movement of a motor vehicle on an inclined ramp. Downhill from the motor vehicle, one or multiple collision object(s) is/are moved into a travel path specified by the ramp, so that in the event of a downhill movement of the motor vehicle on the travel path, a collision of the one or multiple collision object(s) with the motor vehicle reduces a speed of the motor vehicle while it is still on the ramp. Also described are a corresponding device, a parking facility, and a computer program.
