Abstract

Example aspects of a pipe clamp and a method for attaching a pipe clamp to a pipe are disclosed. The pipe clamp can comprise a first clamp segment defining a first semi-cylindrical wall; a second clamp segment defining a second semi-cylindrical wall, the first semi-cylindrical wall and second semi-cylindrical wall defining a void therebetween; a first projection monolithically formed with the first clamp segment, the first projection extending from the first semi-cylindrical wall; and a fastener coupling the first clamp segment to the second clamp segment.
