Abstract
The radial foil bearing (A,B) includes: a housing () provided with an insertion hole (), a pair of engagement grooves () extending outward in a radial direction from an inner peripheral edge of the insertion hole being provided in both end surfaces in an axial direction of the housing; a back foil () disposed on an inner circumferential surface of the insertion hole; an intermediate foil () supported by the back foil; and an engagement member () including a pair of engagement legs () engaging with the pair of engagement grooves, and a connection portion () connecting the pair of engagement legs. The intermediate foil is provided with a recess () recessed and protruding toward the back foil, and the connection portion is disposed in the recess.
