Abstract
A medical dressing () is disclosed, comprising an adhesive layer () having a skin-facing surface () to adhere the medical dressing to a dermal surface, wherein said adhesive layer comprises a first chemical compound incorporated within said adhesive layer, and wherein at least a portion of said skin-facing surface comprises a coating () comprising a second chemical compound. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing such a medical dressing.
