Abstract

A cardiac stent-valve (), preferably a mitral stent-valve, comprising a stent component () and a valve component (), wherein the stent component () comprises an inflow end () and an outflow end () and a wall between the inflow () and the outflow end (), and wherein the valve component () is made of one single leaflet (); the periphery of said single leaflet () being partially attached or attachable to the stent component () along at least fixation lines (), characterized in that said two fixation lines (') are at least partially inclined with respect to an annular plane of said valve perpendicular to a flow direction (A) through the stent-valve () and wherein the third fixation line (″) runs parallel with respect to said plane.
