Abstract

The urine analyzerincludes a sample preparation unitfor mixing a urine sample with a hemolytic agent to prepare a measurement sample, a flow cellfor flowing a measurement sample, a light sourcefor irradiating light on the measurement sample flowing through the flow cell, a light receiving unitfor receiving scattered light given off from the measurement sample by irradiation of light and outputting a scattered light signal, and an analysis unitfor detecting fat particles in the measurement sample by using a parameter reflecting the intensity of the scattered light signal output by the light receiving unit, and a parameter reflecting the width of the scattered light signal.
