Abstract
An environmental sensor for measuring physical quantities associated with a surrounding environment includes one or more sensor elements that detect the physical quantities, and a user recognition unit that recognizes a change in a physical quantity detected by at least one of the sensor elements as being caused by a user when the physical quantity changes in accordance with a predetermined rule.
