Abstract

There is provided a treatment agent for image recording including: a cationic polymer emulsion; and a water-soluble organic solvent including a glycol-based water-soluble organic solvent of which boiling point is not more than 200° C. The treatment agent satisfies the following condition (1): 20≤A≤60. In the condition (1), A: a content amount (% by mass) of the glycol-based water-soluble organic solvent, of which boiling point is not more than 200° C., in an entire amount of the treatment agent for image recording.
