A device communication portiontransmits a print job to an image forming apparatusand obtains information of the image forming apparatusfrom the image forming apparatus. A server communication portiontransmits the information having been obtained from the image forming apparatusto a serverwhich manages the information of the image forming apparatus. The device communication portionobtains specific information of the image forming apparatusfrom the image forming apparatuswith timing that is independent of timing of transmitting the print job to the image forming apparatus.
