The invention relates to an aerosol generator (), comprising a housing (), having a first holding member (″) and a second holding member (), and a vibratable element () for generating an aerosol. The vibratable element () is at least partially accommodated in the housing (). The vibratable element () is contacted by and held between the first and second holding members ().
