Abstract

A monitoring module () for a seat () of a passenger aircraft (), which seat () contains at least one element (-) having at least two states (Z), comprises at least one sensor (-) for the element (-), having state information () corresponding to the current state (Z), a readout unit () having a communication channel () for the state information () to the sensor (-) and a communication interface () for the state information () to a monitoring unit () of the passenger aircraft (). The sensor (-) is a camera or a capacitive seat occupancy sensor. A monitoring device () for a passenger aircraft () contains monitoring modules () and a monitoring unit (), which is configured for at least two of the monitoring modules () together. A passenger aircraft () contains a monitoring module () and/or a monitoring device ().
