Abstract
A gripping device (I) for gripping, translationally moving, and rotating a laboratory vessel () for samples, microorganisms or cell cultures. A support unit (), a bearing body (), and a gripper () that is rotatably mounted in the bearing body () are employed. The gripper () has a rotating body (), in which gripping fingers () are arranged, at least one of which is pivotably mounted in the rotating body (). The rotating body () interacts with a rotary drive () for the rotational movement relative to the bearing body (). The bearing body () is mounted in the support unit () in a translationally movable manner and interacts with a movement drive for the translational movement of the bearing body () with the rotating body with respect to the support unit ().
