Abstract
A device for transmitting a torque from a drive device () onto a roller in a roll stand. In order to make the device independent from the continuous external supply of lubricant, the lubricant spaces in the two pivot bearings are connected to one another in a fluidically conductive manner by way of a feed channel and a return channel for the lubricant in the region of the spindle such that a closed circuit for the lubricant is formed, and that the least one pump device is integrated in the circuit in order to maintain the circulation of the lubricant in the circuit.
