Abstract

The invention providesray florets comprising cyanidin-3-rutinoside, cyanidin-3-glucoside, petunidin-3-glucoside, and cyanidin in the lower epidermal layers. The invention also providesplants comprising a mutant prdr1-1 allele and methods for producing a plant produced by crossing such plants with themselves or with another plant, such as a plant of another genotype. The invention further relates to seeds and plants produced by crossingplants comprising a mutant prdr1-1 allele. The invention further relates to parts of such plants.
