Abstract
The present application discloses an energy-saving method for a display apparatus, a device and a display apparatus. The method includes: receiving an instruction to switch to an energy-saving mode; responding to the instruction, converting a color gamut of an input image to obtain an output image, the output image for performing display by the display apparatus, a corresponding component in a color coordinate of a selected primary color of the output image is smaller than the corresponding component in the color coordinate of the selected primary color of the input image, an luminance of the selected primary color of the output image is less than or equal to the luminance of the selected primary color of the input image; wherein a light-emitting efficiency of a selected primary color sub-pixel of the display apparatus is lowest to reduce the power consumption of the most-used selected primary-color sub-pixel and save energy.
