Abstract

A tactile presentation devicecomprises: a substrate; a plurality of wiringsextending on the substrate; a first insulating layerformed on the substrateand covering the wirings; a plurality of electrodesdisposed on the first insulating layer; a second insulating layercovering the electrodes; and a drive circuit selectively applying a voltage signal to the electrodesthrough the wirings, based on a control signal input from the outside. Each of the wiringsis electrically connected to one of the electrodesvia a through hole opened in the first insulating layer. At least one of the electrodespresents tactile sense to a user who touches the second insulating layerover the electrodewhile the voltage signal is being applied. Each of the wiringsis partly covered with at least one of the electrodes
