Abstract
A belt drum devicefor forming a beltincludes a drum baserotatable around a drum rotational axis () and belt support portionsarranged outside the drum baseand capable of extending and contracting. Each belt support portionincludes a first link plateand a second link plateboth rotatable and each having an outer peripheral surfacearound which the beltis wound. The outer peripheral surfacein a contracted state includes a flat surface portionextending straight in a drum axial direction on an outer-end side and an arc-shaped curved surface portioncurved toward the drum rotational axis ().
