Abstract
Modified polyolefin particles are obtained by grafting a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated group and a polar functional group in the same molecule to a polymer including one, or two or more specific α-olefins and having a specific melting point, the modified polyolefin particles satisfying the following requirements (1) to (3): (1) the amount of grafting x by the monomer is not less than 0.5 wt % and not more than 20 wt %; (2) the x (wt %) and the intrinsic viscosity [η] (dl/g) measured in decalin at 135° C. satisfy the relation: log[η]≥0.1−0.15x; and (3) the particles have a gel content of less than 1 wt %.
